my name is kristin.
i graduated from brigham young university with an illustration bfa in december of 2012, freelanced as a graphic designer / artist / photographer in 2013, and ended the year living in mexico for three months teaching kids english. i think i accidentally left part of my heart there.
2014 started with accepting a job as an adjunct faculty member at BYU teaching a section of figure drawing for animation. i then accepted a position as head of design at wallaroo media and eventually became the creative director. i loved working with my team and clients but come 2018 i decided to freelance again, focusing on design and photography which i am still actively focused on.
additionally i started planning weddings in 2018, including my own in 2019, and have since moved to the east coast with my husband and our kitty cat. meanwhile, i'm still creating my art, for i can't escape the reality and honor of it being an absolute necessity in my life.

when i get excited about something, everybody usually ends up knowing about it. i love experiencing life: nature, culture, people. specifically: music, dance, running, yoga, and travel. but i like it infinitely more when i can share it with others. i suppose that's why i create art.
